This was a lead generation setup with multiple campaigns running but performance was uneven. The goal was simple: scale leads, improve ad rank vs competitors, and stop wasting budget on low-efficiency keywords.
The company was running multiple Google Ads campaigns for lead generation, but performance varied across campaigns and keywords. There was limited clarity on which campaigns were truly driving efficient leads, and competitive pressure was increasing in key markets.
My role was to maximize lead generation efficiency by improving ad performance, increasing ad rank versus competitors, and optimizing budget allocation across existing and new campaigns.
I built weekly and monthly Looker Studio dashboards to consolidate key metrics (campaign performance, keyword efficiency, CTR, conversions, and cost per lead). Then I ran competitive + keyword analysis to focus budget on high-intent terms and deprioritize low-efficiency keywords. Mature campaigns moved to Target CPA for stable scaling, while new tests ran with controlled budgets and conversion-focused bidding. In parallel, I collaborated on landing page improvements to increase relevance, Quality Score, and conversion rate.
The strategy delivered a 20% increase in total leads, while cost per lead dropped 30%. Keyword relevance + bidding improvements also drove a 25% CTR increase, strengthening ad rank and competitive positioning. Overall: more lead volume at significantly lower acquisition cost.
